Filmie has no accounts, servers, analytics or telemetry of its own. The developer receives no data from the app.

Stored on your PC

• Your Trakt sign-in tokens are kept in Windows Credential Manager and removed when you sign out.
• A copy of your Trakt library and your avatar are kept in the app's data folder and removed when you sign out.
• Your video servers and preferences are kept in the app's local storage and removed if you uninstall with app data removed.
• Your Recently played list and progress are kept in a local database. You can clear them in Settings, and they are never sent anywhere.
• Saved TMDB and Trakt responses are kept in the same database. Signing out removes your Trakt data, and Clear cache removes everything.

Sent to other services

• TMDB receives requests for movie and TV information.
• Trakt receives your requests and any watchlist, rating, list or history changes you make, once you sign in.
• Video servers you add load in an embedded player and can see your IP address and whatever else a website normally sees.
• Sites you open from links, such as IMDb or YouTube, open in your default browser.

Each service handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Website

This website uses no cookies or analytics. Cloudflare hosts it and may process standard request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the site. Downloads come from GitHub.
